A wild dumbmanex appears...

Postby dumbmanex » Wed Jul 21, 2010 4:46 pm

Hi there. I used to play the table top RPGs and CCGs back in highschool, and did so somewhat in college(not much though). Was into D&D 2nd edition, mostly Darksun and Ravenloft, and the Star Wars also. Also played Magic the Gathering a lot, still have my cards stashed somewhere, some have green mold on them. I am(was) an even bigger video/pc gamer, mostly Nintendo related stuff.

For the last 6 years I've been making my own pc games, with little to no monetary success. I still do it but freelance on the side. I'm currently making art assets for STRd6's Contrasaurus, and working on my own You Got the Shaft. Should also mention that Snowball's Chance(action/puzzle) and The Great White Destroyer(action/arcade) are out, you should play them. Snowball is free, and a demo for TGWD is available. Find them at my site, http://www.dumbmanex.com/bynd_main.html. Any feedback would be welcome AND awesome.

Now that I make my own crap, I don't have nearly as much time to play as I used to. I'm not upset about it, I enjoy it, but the memories are nice. Not sure if I left anything out, I'll get to it later if I do.

Yeah seems so long ago sitting around in TAG art talking about gaming with you guys before I was really into it yet. You Joey and Clint showed me the way though, and the fact that the dark side does indeed have cookies and most of all they are good cookies!!

What's up guys? According to a D20 roll I heard someone mention my name.

I remember sitting around in TAG and rambling on and on about roleplaying games. I really do not play D&D anymore. I do not know anyone where I am. Sucks too, because I have every book ever made for 3rd edition on a set of 3 CDroms. I also still have my world that I created. Fully intact with all the maps I made, the languages I created. The book of world history that I wrote. What a waste. Too bad I can't sell it to Wizards of the Coast as a campaign setting.

I like your icon Brent. Is that from your Shark Attack game? It is isn't it? That was a lot of fun.
