What are you reading. What are your favorites. What is terrible. Just an open comic book discussion for fans of comics.

I haven't really been reading any new comic books. Mostly, my tastes have changed and I prefer to read short comic book stories. Meaning a collected graphic novel of a story arc that has a beginning and an end within that book. I can't stand waiting months to finish reading something. My favorites are the Marvel Earth X, Marvel 1602, Watchmen, The Omnibus books for the Legend of Drizzt series, and the Omnibus books for Alien Vs. Predator vol.1 and vol.2, the Omnibus books for Star Wars Tales of the Jedi vol.1 and vol.2.
I really enjoyed the DC Vertigo Preacher comic books series when it was running. As well as the DC's 100 Bullets series. All good stuff.

I just got my girlfriend to start reading comics. actually she was curious about them. She approached me one day and asked if she could borrow a comic book to read. She said that she knows I like them and that she wants to try reading one to try and understand and share my interest. I gave her the Marvel 1602 graphic novel to read. She said she really likes it. A girl who only reads books by Dante Alighieri, Franz Fafka, Douglas Hofstadter, Steven Hawking, and Homer.
