Squad Blog: Eldar Redeeming Son's Squad

The concept for my squad goes like this.

Craftworld - Otesh Carrec (Grey Soul)
Craftworld Otesh Carrec is one of the many ships not in the immediate area of the Eye of Terror during "The Fall". After heavy losses during "The Fall" and the subsquicent battles and wars the craftworld was granted a quite spot in the gallexy to rebuild and preform repairs, as well as most importantly breed new armies to seek revenge on Slannesh. The people of Otesh Carrec are not a happy lot the entire ship in considered to be in mourning for the loss of thousands of eldar which is why they changed the ships name from Lan Carrec (bright soul) to Otesh Carrec (Grey Soul). Every part of the culture on the craftworld changed when they went into their seculsion to regroup. Their normally bright surroundings on the ships where painted over to reflect the mood of the people black and grey even the uniforms of the guardians of Otesh Carrec where changed to reflect this.

After years of breeding and mourning the Eldar of Otesh Carrec are now called back to the fight. The first missions where to take on a number of exodites from Exodite World Tirathain. Tirathain was in the sights of a Hive World attack from the Tyrinids. Even though the attack never happened there were a number of warriors who came with their families, who sought to join the fight elsewhere. With them came a number of Dragon Riders and exodite rangers.

The first squad to be commsioned is "Dai son on" The Redeeming Sons a squad lead by a aspect warrior of the Dire Avengers Temple seeking to become a exharch, Doriel. He leads a eager bunch of guardians who, though a squad of youngbloods, has the training he feels will serve them well for the Craftworld and the Eldar. With his civilian soldier Guardians he was commssioned a warlock spiritseer and his wraithguard, as well as a few exodites for his scouts. Verteran soldiers from the dire avenger temple then sought out Doriel to join his squad and became his officers.

Paint scheme idea looks like this:

Given what you were able to do with the goblins, orcs, and marines, I'm looking forward to seeing a set of these finished.
