Blue Green Elves

Postby buzzsaw133 » Tue Oct 11, 2011 9:13 am

I am having some problems creating a the above mentioned deck. I am aiming for combining the G/U +1/+1 counter abilities from the Ravnica block, the general countering and control from blue and the token generation and power-ups from green. Any suggestions?

Lands:
1x Wirewood Lodge
1x Novijen, Heart of Progress
2x Simic Growth Chamber
10x Forest
8x Island

Artifacts:
1x Evolution Vat
1x Quicksilver Amulet
1x Citanul Flute

That's all I got so far...

I'd reccomend memnite & ornathopter 0 casting cost creatures you can put out.
Then I reccomend Throne of Geth
you can sac artifacts to to pump your creatures up.
The other option would be to pull some of the modular artifacts from mirrodin. I don't know those creatures very well but they all come into play with counters on them and if they die you get to slide them to another creatures to make the next creature bigger.

Not a big fan of elves or I would suggest something there but you have a solid idea. I don't know your win conditions your looking for though. In order to really get a elf deck to work correctly it needs to be combo in some way to get lots of elves or lots of tokens.
