Though this guy may seem crazy he actually really knows what he is talking about. The way that most companies make dice actually causes them to be different sizes and lopsided from die to die.
This doesn't apply so much to d6 dice but most poly dice definitely seem to have rounded edges which is a telltale sign of use of a barrel polisher to paint and round the dice intentionally. But as he is saying that is not the correct way to do it and these companies don't seem to care.

I am checking into getting a set of his dice though it seems as though he really knows his stuff.

That dude is awesome! We noticed certain dice would roll more numbers than others, this just explained why.

I propose a new invention. A small device that you place in the middle of the table that has an LED screen. It will have buttons. Each button will have a type of dice. Press the button and a completely randomized dice result will display on the LED screen. This will cut out any problems with random dice results. Even have a option to combine dice, like two D10, that will give percentage rolls. What do you think. A simple solution to this whole problem. Maybe not as aesthetic as playing with dice, but the results will be completely random.

I can take them. I have a +3 longsword and I have dice that always roll in my favor. Probably because they are shaped weird.

I'm working on a patent, for the device. Seriously, I have been thinking about it.

It is just not a device that you can place on the table, unless you have a laptop handy. It would also be cool if there were a dice roller app for phones. That could be hand if you have such new-fangled technology.

Me again. I now have a name for my device. It is called the RDRD. Random Dice Roll Device.

Liam uses the dice app for the iPhone. I dunno how he likes it.

Give me the feel of the dice though it just seems more like what we all know and love about rpg's.

Building a dice tower as we speak to keep the dice a little more under control though.

Dice bag on the iphone is the suck. I'm sure the Random Dice Roll Device would sell though. You should look into a patent. WotC would probably pay you for it. Or buy your company and charge twice as much for the product once you get it off the ground!
